Wanli Xu has over ten years experience counseling U.S. domestic and international companies across multiple industries and through all phrases of their growth. Ms. Xu routinely advises her clients on business formation, angel and venture financings, strategic business matters, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, corporate governance matters and more. Prior to founding Sogle Law, Ms. Xu was a senior corporate and securities attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP in its Palo Alto office, where she represented clients like Wyse Technology in its acquisition by Dell, TPG Capital in its investment in portfolio companies, and SGOGO Group in its NASDAQ listing process.
Ms. Xu received her J.D. (with honors) from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While at law school, Ms. Xu externed for Judge John T. Noonan, Jr. in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Xu also holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University, an LL.M. in American Legal Studies from College of William & Mary, and an LL.B. from Sun Yat-Sen University in China. Ms. Xu speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Ms. Xu is admitted to practice in the State of California and the State of New York.
